Hello, and welcome to the  Net World Map project. Thanks heaps for dropping by, and a special thanks to those of you who leave the name of their nearest city, and also to Private Jets Charter for their generous support that keeps this site running.

Click here for our World IP Address Map. You can use it to find the geographical location of an IP address - often to the nearest city.  (Longitude, Latitude, Flags, Maps and other info is also provided.) If you are into mobile applications or want to intergrate Location Based Services in to your mobile application then at&t are doing some pretty cool stuff - follow the links and see. Finally, if you are using it to locate a website, then keep in mind that Websites that share one dedicated server, will also share its IP address and the same geographical location.

If you would like to assist in mapping the physical locations of the world to the virtual locations of the Internet, please enter your nearest city below. (Without any state or country info).

That is, the name of the city where you are now, or if you are not in a city, the nearest city to _your_ current location. (not nearest to your website, or e-mail address.) Please don't enter the state or country, it will ask you if it needs it. Thanks

Don't worry if the name of the city that you enter matches more than one of the worlds cities, as you will get to choose the correct one from a list.

Concerned about your privacy?

At no stage, under any circumstances, will we give out your e-mail address to anyone, or to forward messages to you on behalf of anyone. In fact, we don't even ask for your e-mail address. We intentionally don't include e-mail addresses in the hall of fame, and the ONLY opportunity that you will get to tell us your e-mail address, will be if you chose to add yourself to our mailing list. In which case the above commitment to not disclose your e-mail address still applies.
We also do not rely on profiling, prompting or tracking in any way.  In particular, cookies are not used. No information about any Internet user is collected or used in any way whatsoever.
